Amanda Seyfried's daughter was not happy when her mom won an Emmy.

After winning the Emmy for most outstanding lead actress in a limited series or movie for her role in The Dropout, Seyfried spoke to reporters.

She shared that her 5-year-old daughter Nina was very excited and cried after her mom's win.

The actress is also a mom to 23-month-old son Thomas with husband Thomas Sadoski.

Seyfried, 36, was given the award on Monday by presenters Chris O'Donnell and Shemar Moore. She said that it was a "nice feeling" to win her first Emmy.

Seyfried thanked the Television Academy and said it was an honor to be recognized among the other amazing actors.

She then went on to thank The Dropout creator Liz Meriweather and executive producer Michael Showalter.
